We welcomed a special, unexpected guest in our Visitors Center this morning!

A guest in town from Raleigh, North Carolina stopped by and shared a wonderful surprise, that as a teenager in the 1960s, he worked in our building back when it served as a bank!

As he walked through the space, he reminisced about his days as a teller, sharing stories and local Glasgow lore. Even more special, he pointed out details from his daily routines and reflected on how the building has changed over the years.

Our historic Visitors Center still features the original bank vaults, making his visit a unique trip down memory lane for all of us.

Every building has a story, but it’s not every day you get a personal tour of a building’s past from someone who was actually there. Thanks to John White for stopping in to see us 🫶
