Glen Arbor Chili Cook-off across the street from the B&B at BOONDOCK’S. Estimated over 800 people came out to try chili and support our local school scholarships.

We were thrilled to be part of it….and equally thrilled to be warming up ❄️🥶❄️

We make reservations one year in advance, so you could make plans😉 for Valentine’s Day/chili cook off in Glen Arbor for 2026! It is hands-down, the best weekend of the winter.

A wintery drive up M22 to the far northern tip of Leelanau Peninsula to the Grand Traverse Lighthouse. This is one of our favorite places for looking for cool fossils in the summer, and the museum is excellent!
