There are so many undiscovered beaches in the world, some which are not very popular among tourists but is so clean and beautiful that once you visit these beaches you would want to stay there forever.
We discovered a beach while we were searching an option for Scuba Diving during our Goa Trip, we wanted to visit a new place and then we chose the beautiful beach located in Maharashtra known as
Malvan Chivla Beach 🏖
The dark blue ocean and clean sands along with the popular adventure sports is worth the visit.
This beach is around 120 kilometres (74.5 miles) from Goa is best to relax as there are lesser number of people who visit there.
Tips-
• If you want to enjoy adventure sports the best way would be to book online from the applications like Make My Trip as it will be more cost effective.
• If it’s the first time you’re going for a scuba diving then opt in otherwise you can scuba dive in The Grand Island, Goa.
• When booking online make sure you choose the full day package which will include Pickup and Drop, Adventure Sports and 2 meals.
• If you are not very fond of plain food take something with you as the lunch maybe too bland for you.
• Do keep spare clothes
• You will get a shower compartment which will cost you ₹20-₹30 per person, so make sure you keep you towel and shower gel with you
How to reach-
You will get beautiful scenic views during your travel, you can either book your traveller online or opt to self drive.

“Every Exit is an Entrance to Somewhere else”
Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, Ahmedabad
About-
Off the eastern end of Nehru bridge stands the Sidi Saiyyed mosque. Built in 1573, it is the last of the major mosques to be built in Ahmedabad under the Mughal rule. Surrounded by busy intersections, it presents a stark contrast to speeding buses and giant advertisements.

The carved jaalis in the windows of the western wall are known worldwide and have become a symbol of the city of Ahmedabad. Depicting a tree with intertwining branches, the carvings look like fine lace filigree work, but are hewn from solid stone. Though much smaller than the Jama Masjid, and lacking the enclosed courtyard, the craftsmanship of this mosque places it on a level nearly unequaled in the world.
Tips-
• Make sure to wear clothes Covering your Arms and Legs
• Females may not be allowed inside the mosque when people are praying but since the mosque is open one can view everything without going in

The Triveni Sangam, where festivals like Maha Kumbh, Magh Mela takes place which is the world’s largest human gathering is held at the confluence of three holy rivers Ganga (Ganges), Yamuna and Saraswati in which Saraswati is mythical and is believed to flow from below and that’s why cannot be seen above.
One can see the line where Ganga and Yamuna meets and since they are of each different hue (Ganga is brownish and Yamuna is greenish) a line is transformed which makes for a fascinating sight.
In 2019, the Ardh Kumbha (Half Kumbh) festival will be held there and the preparations has already been started.
The video shows Siberian birds (White Wag tail) which migrates to Prayagraj Sangam during winters and makes it more beautiful as people gets attract to the beautiful sight and feed birds.

Do’s and Don’ts:
* During Kumbh mela the tourist are on a large scale and there are so many priests each having different looks which makes it interesting to look around.
* Do not click pictures without permission as some can get offended for clicking their pictures.
* Rent a boat and go to the point where Ganga and Yamuna comes together.
* Go to Naini Bridge (New Yamuna bridge) from where you can look at the river from above and have a beautiful sight of sunrise and sunset.
* Rent a tent and stay on the Sangam ghat for a Day.
* During Kumbh the roads are blocked for public transport so make sure you mark your parking on Map as you can get confused and lost while going back.
Boat Charges varies from 900-2000 depending on what kind of boat you are choosing, our preference is to choose normal boat as you will be able to look around peacefully rather than steamer which moves fast and finishes the ride in 15-20 minutes.

Nakki Lake in Mount Abu truly defines romance in Rajasthan. Named as Love Lake of Mount Abu, it is also a largest manmade lake at the height of 11,000 meters in India. It is also a sacred lake for the Garacia tribe of Rajasthan and at the time of their festival in Shukla paksha which falls in April month it is the place of worship and remembrance of their ancestors. People consecrate their nails in the lake on this festival. It is the reason for naming of this lake as 'Nakki'. (Source: rajasthandirect.com)

Taj Mahal
Agra, India 🇮🇳
So it was our second trip to Taj Mahal one of the 7 wonders of the world 🌎 and this one taught us much more about this place.

About Taj Mahal-

Taj Mahal considered as a symbol of love.
It was created by the Emperor of India during Mughal Dynasty - Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Arjumand Banu Begum also known as Mumtaz Mahal which means beloved ornament of the palace. She was known for her exotic beauty and was an Empress of India during Mughal Dynasty.
Taj Mahal was created from Marbles and is one of it’s own kind. Which then costed 32 million rupees.

There are 3 gates of Taj Mahal outer area-
East gate, (entry allowed)
West Gate , (entry allowed)
South Gate (exit only)
Last time we went in from West Gate this time we chose East Gate which was somewhat similar but the Southern Gate is kinda like an exit there you’ll get a narrow road filled with local shops where you can buy stuffs like mini Taj Mahal, marble boxes, T-shirts with Taj Mahal printed on it and many more stuffs along with petha (popular sweet of Agra) and small restaurants. As you’ll walk further towards from southern gate to Eastern Gate you’ll also get a CCD (Café Coffee Day) where you can grab a coffee and have a nice time.

Tips for entering the Taj Mahal -

* Choose to go there on weekday instead of weekend if you don’t want to get stuck in long queues and rush.

* Visit in winters as summers are very hot to travel.

* Carry your ID card which you’ll need to show on ticket counter as well as security check

* Do not carry any snacks in your backpack as it is not allowed inside

* If you want to get a different and nice shot visit there on early morning. You’ll get a nice sunrise view and beautiful shots with less rush. It gets opened 30 minutes before sunrise and gets closed 30 minutes before sunset.

* To enter inside the Taj Mahal you need to buy shoe cover but do not keep your shoes anywhere as it might get misplaced or stolen.

* Take care of your belongings and be alerted.

* Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.

* You can book a hotel near Taj Mahal which will make it easier for you to Visit as many times as you want and is nearer to other historical monuments like Agra Fort, Baby Taj (Itmad-ud-Daulah).

* You can book a cab (Ola) or take an auto Rickshaw from Hotel to Taj Mahal.

Foreign tourists- ₹1,100
Citizens of SAARC & BIMSTEC countries- ₹540
Children below 15 years of age need not to pay any entry fees for both Indian and foreign tourists.

ITMAD UD DAULA aka JEWEL BOX or BABY TAJ

Everybody knows about the Taj Mahal but what about other beautiful monuments located in the same city which are very less known but are worth visiting? Here’s ITMAD UD DAULA. The above picture is one of it’s gate there are 4 gates in total.
Itmad-ud-daula has a special place in the chronicles of both history as well as architecture. This is precisely because Itmad ud Daula is the very first tomb in India that is entirely made out of Marble. This is actually a mausoleum that overlooks the River Yamuna and is a tomb of Mir Ghiyas Beg, a minister in the court of Shah Jahan.

The story of Itmad-ud-daula is an inspirational rag to riches saga. The tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah is as interesting as the life of the person for whom it was built. Mirza Ghiyas-ud-din or Ghiyas Beg (later known as Itimad-ud-Daulah) was a poor merchant and lived in Persia (modern-day Iran). His wife gave birth to a daughter whom he wanted to abandon for he has no money to feed her but the persistent wails of the infant changed his heart. The baby girl brought a stroke of good luck to her parents, for Ghiyas Beg found a caravan that straightaway took him to the court of the great Mughal Emperor, Akbar. . After Akbar's death in 1605, his son Jahangir became the Mughal emperor, who made Ghiyas Beg his chief minister or Wazir. Ghiyas Beg was also honored with the title of Itimad-ud-Daulah or the pillar of the state.
Jahangir fell in love with his widowed daughter who processes unspeakable beauty. She was later christened Noor Jahan and went down in the history as one of the most beautiful and artistically gifted women in the world. Jahangir conferred the title of Itmad-ud-daula or 'Pillar of the Empire' to his father-in-law. Noor Jahan ordered the tomb after the death of her father in 1622.
Itmad-ud-daula is a pure white and elaborately carved tomb that conforms to the Islamic style of architecture. The Indo-Islamic architecture becomes prominent because of the fusion that this tomb displays. While the use of arched entrances and octagonal shaped towers signify the Persian influence, the absence of a dome and the presence of a closed kiosk on top of this building and the use of canopies talks about the possible Indian influence. From out side, when you take a bird eye view, Itmad-ud-daula looks like a jewel box set in a garden. This tranquil, small, garden located on the banks of the Yamuna was to inspire the construction of the Taj Mahal in the later years. (source: agra.nic.in)

Personal Experience-

Apart from Taj mahal you can visit this beautiful monument and feel the peace and beauty.
Unlike Taj Mahal you won’t need to stand in long queues and bear the rush in fact you can relax and enjoy the view of Yamuna River and take a walk in the garden.
It’s different and beautiful also when you enter from the main gate you will get some boards with the information of monuments made by Mughals across India which is very interesting to read.

Tips-

• Due to religious reasons, you will only be allowed barefoot inside the monument because it is a mausoleum.

• You can submit your shoes outside the monument for free.

• You will be required a ticket to enter-

Note* Children below the age of 15 years are allowed free entry.

• It is open all days.

• You can stay here for hours without any restrictions.

PYKARA LAKE AND BOATHOUSE-

About-
Pykara is a popular getaway that is at a distance of about 20 kilometres from Ooty, in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu, India. The Pykara village, along with a beautiful river by the same name, also houses a dam and a power plant. Because of the construction of the dam, the backwaters have formed an enormous lake, which is now known as the Pykara Lake and has become a significant tourist attraction that is visited by large numbers of people all year round. It has everything that a person on vacation can ask for, right from ambience and comfort to scenic beauty. Nature lovers, photographers and adventure seekers should definitely not miss out on this unique and fun-filled place.

A major attraction for the tourists at the Pykara Lake is the boathouse. The boathouse, along with its restaurant, is maintained by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation. It comprises of several boats which can be rented by the tourists according to their needs.

325 per person - 6 seater pedal boat.
400 per person - 8 seater pedal boat.

• You can also rent Motor boats which are available for 20 minutes whereas Speedboats are available for 10 minutes.

• Car boats can take 10 person and it’s best for those traveling in groups.

So if you want to relax and enjoy then must visit this place when you visit Ooty, Tamil Nadu, India.

Tips-

- Best time to visit Ooty is between March to June as the temperature does not rise above 20 Degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit).

- If you are planning to visit Rose Garden in ooty make sure that you visit there in May or June as it is considered Rose blooming season there and you’ll be able to enjoy variety of roses.

- Make sure you keep a raincoat or rain cover with you to protect your camera and other valuables because it can rain anytime during the season of summer and monsoon.

- There’s No entry fee to reach shooting point.

- In front of this shooting point is a dense forest of Nilgiris, you can also go there.

-There are two shooting points. 6th mile and 9th mile.

- You would need to hike to reach to the top of the hill but since it’s not steep it’s easier to climb up to the main point.

- Keep a water bottle with you as there’s no shop on the top of the hill.

ADALAJ STEPWELL

About-

Set in the quiet village of Adalaj, this vav has served as a resting place for hundreds of years for many pilgrims and caravans along their trade routes. Built in 1499 by Queen Rudabai, wife of the Vaghela chief, Veersinh, this five-storey stepwell was not just a cultural and utilitarian space, but also a spiritual refuge. It is believed that villagers would come everyday in the morning to fill water, offer prayers to the deities carved into the walls and interact with each other in the cool shade of the vav. There is an opening in the ceilings above the landing which allows the light and air to enter the octagonal well. However, direct sunlight does not touch the flight of steps or landings except for a brief period at noon. Hence some researchers say that the atmosphere inside the well is six degrees cooler than the outside. Another remarkable feature of this stepwell is that out of the many stepwells in Gujarat, it is the only one with three entrance stairs. All three stairs meet at the first storey, underground in a huge square platform, which has an octagonal opening on top. The vav is a spectacular example of Indo-Islamic architecture and design. The harmonious play of intricate Islamic floral patterns seamlessly fusing into Hindu and Jain symbolism embody the culture and ethos of those times. All the walls carved by ornamentation, mythological scenes along with everyday scenes of women churning buttermilk, dancers accompanied by musicians, women adorning themselves and a king sitting on a stool. Fascinating to many visitors is the Ami Khumbor (a pot that contains the water of life) and the Kalp Vriksha (a tree of life) carved out of a single slab of stone. There is a belief that the small frieze of navagraha (nine-planets) towards the edge of the well protects the monument from evil spirits.

Personal experience-

From the outside you won’t feel like there’s something but as you go inside you’ll be surprised with the amazing architecture and beautiful carvings of this stepwell.
And as you’ll go downstairs inside it you’ll feel cool as the temperature inside it is always 2-4 degrees (Celsius) lower than the temperature outside.
There are many stairs and you might need to turn on the flashlight as it gets dark as you go deeper.
What I think that if you ever visit Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar you should definitely visit this place as it offers you a mesmerising beauty and peace inside it.

Tips-

Carry flashlight along with you as it gets darker as you go deeper.

If you’re a heart patient or have any problem then it is recommended to not to go deeper as you’ll need to go upstairs to come up which is around 30-40 steps.

There’s park outside where you can sit or relax and have snacks at the shop nearby where you’ll get-
Tea -₹10 each,
vada pav- ₹20,
Soft drinks, candies, fryums or chips- MRP

How to reach-

As this place is in outskirts of the city Ahmedabad it is recommended that you book a cab for a day or you can always choose the tour buses which are cheap and best for sightseeing and takes you to many different places in one day, then if you like some place you can always revisit the place on your own.
