Two weeks until the FIN-tastic Free Fishing Day! 🎣

On Saturday, June 6, we will waive day-use fees at all parks, historic sites, and recreational areas that offer fishing and river access, in conjunction with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department annual Free Fishing Day.

Participating locations offering free entrance are:
Boysen State Park
Buffalo Bill State Park
Curt Gowdy State Park
Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park
Fort Phil Kearny State Historic Site
Glendo State Park
Guernsey State Park
Keyhole State Park
Seminoe State Park
Hawk Springs State Recreation Area

Additional locations with fishing opportunities, river access, and free year-round entrance:
Bear River State Park
Connor Battlefield State Historic Site
Fort Fred Steele State Historic Site
Hot Springs State Park
Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site
Sinks Canyon State Park

Free Fishing Day is held annually on the first Saturday in June and applies to waters across the state. While fishing licenses are not required for the day, all other regulations—including creel limits, size restrictions, gear guidelines, and area closures—remain in effect. Learn more at WGFD.Wyo.Gov.

🎣 3rd Annual Governor's Cup, is here next weekend June 5th-7th! Headlined by Crowley Marine non-fishing activities, will take place at the Trading Post throughout the entire weekend.

UPDATE: Spaghetti Dinner is Saturday, NOT Friday.

📍 Weekend Schedule
Friday
Check-In: Begins at 4:30 PM
Mandatory Rules Meeting: 6:00 PM
At least one team member must attend

-Trading Post will have their Food Truck and Beverages avaliable.

Saturday
Tournament Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

-Trading Post will be providing Spaghetti Dinner, as part of their Customer Appreciation at 5pm.

Sunday
Final Results & Awards: Approximately 5:45 PM at Trading Post..

The Glendo Trading Post will be on-site all weekend serving drinks.

Please—no outside alcohol. Support those who support you!

🔥 Tournament Details
Boundaries: Glendo Dam to the mouth of River Canyon. No boats may fish inside the river.

Minimum Length: 16 inches. The tail must touch the 16-inch mark to qualify.

Flights: 3:00 PM, 3:30 PM, and 4:00 PM

Off Water Friday: 4:30 PM

Each morning we will check boats in out in front of the Marina/Dam starting at 5:30am. Must be checked in by 6:45am.

This is exciting!

Guess what’s happening at the Glendo Trading Post??

On Wednesday, May 6th our food truck will be opening up for the season and we have some EXCITING NEWS!!

Not only will we have our regular menu with reasonable prices but we are also adding DIRTY SODAS AND ICED COFFEE!!!!

In addition we will also have weekend specials (food and beverages) and who knows what else may happen!!
