Sunday is the Summer Solstice — the longest day of the year!

One of the things I love about traveling in the Northern Hemisphere during the Summer Solstice is how much daylight you get to enjoy. The farther north you travel, the longer the days become.

I've experienced Alaska during the Solstice, and it's amazing. Imagine eating dinner at 9:00 p.m. with bright sunshine still streaming through the windows, or taking an evening walk at 11:00 p.m. and not needing a flashlight.

Places like Alaska, Iceland, Norway, Finland, and parts of Canada can experience incredibly long days this time of year. In some areas, the sun barely sets at all.

It makes me wonder...

When it comes to experiencing the spectacular Iguazu Falls, there’s no wrong answer! One side offers breathtaking panoramic views, while the other gets you up close to the roaring water. Either way, prepare for mist, rainbows, and a whole lot of "wow!"
