According to one website's "Spookiness Index," the most haunted city in the U.S. is Virginia City, Nevada!!

This is just in time for spooky season . . . a new study just ranked the most haunted towns in America, based on their "Spookiness Index."

They looked at factors like reported ghost sightings, haunted locations, haunted house attractions, psychic and spiritual businesses, funeral services, and spooky Google searches.

And the most haunted city in the U.S. is:

1. Virginia City, Nevada . . ."it's a former mining town with a spooky past, and a whole lot of paranormal businesses nearby."

2. Tombstone, Arizona . . . probably a lot of gunfighter ghosts in this area.

3. Eureka Springs, Arkansas

4. Galena, Illinois

5. Gettysburg, Pennsylvania . . . to be fair, it's just really a big empty field . . . but considering all the people that fought and died there, it has to be haunted.

6. Cape May, New Jersey

7. Estes Park, Colorado

8. Austin, Texas

9. Los Angeles

10. Weston, West Virginia

An evening of dark, mysterious and supernatural storytelling — with each ghost story paired with its own signature cocktail inspired by the tale.
This isn’t a ghost hunt.
It’s an evening of storytelling, atmosphere and spirits of a different kind — created especially for the Halloween season.
