The morning after Thanksgiving, I felt a sense of peace as a walked out to the barn. I am grateful for all my little minis… horses and donkeys that entertain our guests but also for the work they do at Stable Grounds, in Middlebury. Many of you have asked this year, why the herd of such a diverse group of animals…? Meadow Brook Farm has the pleasure of supplying a mental health counseling program in Middlebury with animals that children and adults can use for struggles such as grief, anxiety, depression, anger, and many other things. The need is so great, that Troy and are are humbled our animals get to be part of a bigger purpose in helping people find their peace.

We are constantly being told, “your barn and property are beautiful….pictures don’t do it justice!” So we are looking for pictures that DO show the true spirit of Meadow Brook! We are releasing a whole new branding soon, so if you would like to be featured, please send your picture (photographer or client released) to [email protected].
Our followers will then get to see these images and vote for the best of categories! The client and photographer can both earn $100 gift cards! And we would love to showcase the artistic work that brings memories to life after special occasions!

It is busy season here at Meadow Brook! With weddings happening at the Barn & at our smaller venue (the Stable) and guests staying here at the Manor, it has been non-stop. Throw in a couple of food truck nights too for the community we love & taking care of our mini horses, it has been uber busy 😳…in a good way!☺️

We are looking ahead to next year for weddings and for gatherings here at The Manor. If you need any of the following or know of someone who does, please reach out, we would love to host you:

• Wedding venue: we have two beautiful venues to accommodate all your friends and family!
• Retreat space for church or business (the Manor)
• Family vacation gathering spot
• Place to hold celebrations and showers (the Stable is perfect)
