Last week’s warm up killed most of my pre spawn areas so we looked around for some spawning smallmouth. After catching a few of them we decided to fish for Largemouth. The bite wasn’t as good as hoped but enough of them cooperated to give us a good trip…

I am a little late posting this trip. I had these guys out last weekend in the rain and wind. The pre spawn bite was still on and everyone left with a smile on their face. Thanks guys for letting me take you out. See you in the summer for some Lakers!!

Man did I have a great time the last couple days with these six guys. They came all the way from Texas to scratch Lake Champlain Smallmouth fishing off their bucket list. Champlain showed out and they didnt leave disappointed.
I want to thank Captain Matthew Trombley with 3rd Alarm Charters for the helping hand with this group. It was great hanging out and catching up with you. I am Looking forward to the next time!

Dave was the winner of this winter’s show season trip drawing. He shared the trip with his family and picked a great time to fish Lake Champlain.The fish cooperated for us and they were able to land some giants!

Nate and Mike braved the rain/snow and wind this morning and it paid off big. Both of them caught their PB smallmouth. Mike got a 4.2 and Nate caught a giant that weighed 5.13. Great job guys!

Mother Nature is doing her thing and getting rid of all this ice on Champlain. The main lake is mostly open but the inland Sea and Mallets Bay still have a bunch of ice still.
I plan to get on the water this weekend and fish the Burlington area. I am hoping the fish are still in their wintering holes where we left them in December.
We will be offering trips most weekends in April. Once May hits we will also be able to get you on the water during the week.
