Chicago! 🏙️

Last weekend, our family traveled to Chicago to see and it was an AMAZING performance! The Nederlander Theatre is an absolutely gorgeous theatre with so many breathtaking details.

We left Saturday morning on the Amtrak train from East Lansing and arrived in Chicago around noon. The hotels in the area are usually very accommodating and our hotel allowed us to check in to one of our rooms early so we could relax before the show. While everything is fairly close in Chicago, be prepared for a low of walking! We spent Sunday walking through the city, shopping and sightseeing. We grabbed before going back to Union Station on Sunday afternoon to catch the train back home. I wish we had more time there, but that just means it’s an excuse to go back. :)

There are many concerns regarding how this new hurricane may impact the theme parks. Currently, parks will continue to operate as normal, but may close if the weather becomes severe. If you have a trip coming up this week, monitor the Universal Orlando or Disney World pages for potential closures! ☔️
