A batch of Comets are fresh off the vise and ready for new homes! I will be posting any unclaimed flies to Etsy later this evening. It’s a first come first serve basis, as there are only 2 of each color, so get them while they last! The flies pictured are 4/0 doubles and come in the colors Redhorse, Jungle Fire, Classic Black and Orange, Blue Clown and Yellow Lightning. I am charging $30 per fly. The smiles say it all! I had a great time with some amazing people this season. Here’s just a few of the great moments captured in the boat this year. I found some spare time in my schedule to get out on the water with some family and boy was it a treat! We had an excellent day on the water with a 3 man limit, 20+ walleye in the boat and a mix of bass and pike to add to it. It was an absolutely beautiful day to be out on the water and an even better one for us fisherman.

I have openings for July and August! The fishing has been great and there’s a lot of summer left. If you like pike and smallmouth fly fishing you will definitely have a good time in my boat. What an excellent two days of fishing with my first fly fishing client of the year! Day one was a smallmouth fishermen’s dream that resulted in a multi species day including a walleye caught on the fly! Day two the client says “I really want some pike”. Me “I have just the place”. Day two ended with a 15+ fish day with fish ranging from 23”-30” and a big one to top it off!These fish won’t be in the shallows for much longer.
