🎨1–Nov 1: Chihuly at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park - Chihuly’s iconic glass art transforms indoor and outdoor spaces.

🏮Select Dates 1–10: Grand Rapids Lantern Festival - A breathtaking one‑mile walk of illuminated lantern displays brings art, wildlife, and culture to life at John Ball Zoo.

🐾2: Bissell Blocktail Party - Support BISSELL Pet Foundation's dog‑friendly event with food, music, and adoptable pets for a good cause.

🎉5: First Fridays - A chance to explore Uptown with fresh specials, pop-ups, and local favorites.

🌮5, 12, 19, & 26: Food Truck Fridays - A weekly night of food trucks, live music, and local shopping at Riverside Park.

🌏12–13: Grand Rapids Asian-Pacific Festival - Two days of music, dance, food, and cultural experiences celebrating Asian and Pacific Islander communities.

🎶Select Dates 7-28: Summer Concert at the Frederik Meijer Gradens & Sculpture Park - A summer concert series bringing national and international artists to Grand Rapids.

✊19: Justice 4 All Juneteenth Jam - A vibrant, free celebration honoring Black culture, creativity, and community in Grand Rapids.

🌈20–21: Grand Rapids Pride Festival - Joyful celebrations of the LGBTQIA+ community with entertainment, vendors, food, and family fun.

🌊25: World Ocean Day at John Ball Zoo - An underwater‑inspired day of learning, entertainment, and aquatic fun.

🍹27: Grand Rapids Taco and Tequila Fest - Tacos, tequila, margaritas, and live music at Riverside Park.

John Ball Zoo's new otter habitat is officially open! 🦦

Head to Rosa Parks Circle on June 29 for a live fire culinary event where chefs bring bold flavors to life over open flames in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids.

Hosted by the ACF Greater Grand Rapids Chefs Association, this open-air gathering brings together chefs, food lovers, and the community—here’s what you can expect:

🔥 Live-fire cooking demonstrations from local chefs and ACF culinary teams
🌍 A global lineup of flavors, from classic American barbecue to Beijing duck and beyond
👨‍🍳 A chance to meet the people behind the plates and see their craft up close

Whether you’re in town for the convention or just looking for a unique night out, this event is open to everyone!

Grand Rapids summer nights are looking better than ever. 🎶

Acrisure Amphitheater is officially open and bringing a whole new live entertainment experience to downtown, with major concerts and comedy shows taking over the riverfront all season long.

With room for more than 12,000 people, you can grab a seat under the pavilion or bring a blanket and hang out on the lawn for the show.
