Warm weather brings wildlife life! We will be hosting the kickoff, Friday April 28th to Minnesota Ornithological Union's annual counting of salt water birds. Wait...we have salt water? Check it out!

Hello everyone! Climbing back out of winter hibernation and ready to get going again! I am planning some changes for Authentic Excursions which I'll soon reveal, but first off, I started a video blog to introduce you to myself, Granite Falls, and the southwest Minnesota area. I plan to interview locals and take folks around to the well-known attractions as well as some hidden treasures as we explore the place I've come to love. One final plug for the Brewery and Winery Hop tomorrow! The weather looks a bit warmer but still windy - sounds like a perfect day to check out some regional breweries and wineries, meet some new, fun-loving folks, sip some tasty beverages, eat some street tacos, and maybe do a bit of shopping in the adorable town of New London. Visit Goat Ridge Brewing Co., Foxhole Brewhouse, and Grandview Valley Winery. Plus, there's live music at Bluenose Gopher Public House when we return, and your Authentic Excursions wristband will get you $2 off your first beer there!
