Join us tomorrow Wednesday, July 9th from 6 – 8 PM @ Bluenose Gopher Public House for "Photo Editing Workshop: In-Camera Creativity to Digital Mastery" with Jessica Stölen.

An immersive photography editing class where participants will experiment with in-camera double exposure techniques—blending creativity with the natural landscape. Attendees should bring their own camera or use their cell phone camera for this portion of the class.

We’ll then dive into digital editing, using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

You'll learn how to:
– Use burn and dodge tools to shape light and enhance depth
– Enhance shadows for greater drama and mood
– Boost luminance to draw attention and elevate skin tones
– Master composite editing by layering multiple images into a single, cohesive final image

We’ll walk through examples—including those shown in our promo materials—to show how composite photography can transform your creative vision.

While this course centers on portraiture, the skills and techniques taught are broadly adaptable to other photographic genres, including landscape, nature, and conceptual work.

Whether you're a seasoned photographer or new to photo editing, this workshop is designed to expand your technical toolkit and ignite your creative process.
