What a great story here, folks!

A little backstory: I worked for Brock for the past four years, and last year he decided it was time to move on to a new chapter away from Freak Horn Guide Service. That’s when I had the opportunity to purchase FHGS and take over the business.

When I told my buddy Kyle about the purchase, he knew my first year as a business owner was going to stretch me pretty thin. Without hesitation, he dropped his entire fall hunting, work, and personal schedule to come help me out — completely free of charge. He’s busted his ass for the past two months, refused to take a dime, and has been an absolute blessing to have by my side through this first season. I can’t put into words how much I appreciate his friendship and everything he’s done for me and this business.

The one thing we agreed on was that once his clients were tagged out, he’d have the opportunity to hunt for himself on our ground. And man, did he make the most of it!

This is an absolute STOMPER of a Columbian blacktail, green-scoring 146 3/8 inches!

Couldn’t be happier for you, Kyle. You’ve earned every bit of this one, and I’m beyond grateful to have a buddy like you in my corner.

Cody came out with us last year and had some close encounters but couldn’t make it happen. He didn’t waste time this year, 30 mins into his first morning we had this bull run into 20 yards and Cody was able to get 2 arrows in him! Job well done by Cody and his guide Kyle!
