1. TOURIST POLICE ARE EVERYWHERE
Problem: You picture lawless streets. The reality is the opposite.
Solution: Egypt runs a dedicated tourist police unit at every major site, hotel zone, and transit hub. White uniforms in summer, black in winter. Most speak basic English.
Try this: If anything ever feels off, just say "tourist police" out loud. Watch how fast someone in uniform appears.

2. THE NEIGHBORHOODS NOBODY MENTIONS
Problem: You assume Cairo = chaos, full stop.
Solution: Zamalek, Maadi, and Garden City are calm, leafy, embassy-adjacent neighborhoods where expats live for years.
Try this: Book your Cairo hotel in Zamalek. Tree-lined streets, Nile views, 15-min Uber to the pyramids.

3. SOLO FEMALE TRAVELERS — READ THIS
Problem: Horror stories scared you off. They're not the full picture.
Solution: Egypt is more conservative than Europe but safer than most major US cities for solo women — IF you dress modestly and avoid empty streets after 11pm.
Try this: Pack a lightweight scarf. Drape it at religious sites and you instantly become "respectful guest, not target."

4. THE NEWS HEADLINE TO IGNORE
Problem: One Sinai incident makes you cancel the whole trip.
Solution: North Sinai has restrictions. Tourist Egypt — Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Red Sea — is hundreds of miles away and untouched.
Try this: Look up the actual US State Department zones for Egypt. You'll exhale within 30 seconds.

5. WHAT'S ACTUALLY RISKIER
Problem: You're scared of the wrong things.
Solution: Traffic and food poisoning hurt tourists way more than crime ever does.
Try this: Only drink sealed water (even for brushing teeth) and never get in a cab without a seatbelt. You just dodged 90% of real risk.

6. DON'T TAKE OUR WORD
Problem: We're a tour company — you shouldn't blindly trust the source.
Solution: Search Pyramids Land Tours on TripAdvisor. Filter by "first time" or "solo female." Read 20 reviews.
Try this: You'll find your exact fear already addressed by someone with the same energy as you.
