Friends of High on Helton we are blessed to report our cabin has suffered no direct damage from the devastating flooding that so many of or friends and neighbors in The High Country are struggling through. Helton Creek had her way with our bridge and we await inspection to be sure it remains structurally sound.
The flood washed away several feet of the road bed and there is currently no vehicle access to our property. These repairs will take place at some point but the priority remains taking care of the many families who are still cut off without power or communications. We will update the status of HOH when the situation changes.
In the meantime, thank you for continuing your generous support of the many relief efforts and organizations who are working night and day to help restore our communities. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Your support will be needed for weeks and months to come.
