There is something about the way we run a trip to Peru and Machu Picchu. It starts off by having the absolute best hotels. We doubt if you will stay in a more luxurious hotel than the one we have in Cusco, the Aranwa Hotel. In Machu Picchu, we stay at Machu Picchu Pueblo, the top of the top. When we go to the Amazon Jungle, you probably live better there than you do at home with gourmet meals and top of the line lodging - there is no roughing it there. And of course, there is Machu Picchu but almost everyone comes back saying that the most amazing part of the trip was the Amazon where you will see PLENTY of wildlife. Get on this trip! I had the honor of spending Memorial Day weekend in Normandy.

Here are a few photos from the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, where row after row of crosses and Stars of David remind us what this day truly means.

For me, Memorial Day could not have been better spent.
