For six years, we’ve welcomed guests to experience special moments at All Things Life ~ On The Bay—a section of our home set aside for retreat, relaxation, adventure, and making memories. Now, as we close our short-term rental and prepare to sell our beloved home, we’re excited to shift the focus of this page to share what it’s truly like to live on the Bay.

I have a friend who receives updates on Aurora activity. Two nights ago I captured these shots between 9:30-11:30pm when he notified me of possible visible activity. It sounds like tonight and tomorrow night could be good too. I'll share more photos if I get better ones than these.

The roses really did their thing this year! I can't say we know how to take care of the roses. Some years we've prunned, others we have not. This year, they grew a lot, all over the fence. Now there's an amazing display of roses 🌹The best part is when guests are able to enjoy them too!

It's been five years since we started hosting a large section of our home on Airbnb. We have had a great experience doing this and have met some amazing people!

So why did we launch a direct booking site?

There's many reasons, but the one we think everyone will love is our ability to offer savings to our guests.

Who is direct booking for, and how does it work? We are offering direct booking to people that we know and to those who are referred to us through our known community of freinds, family and guests. We are also offering direct booking to partner businesses, such as wedding venues and corporate travelers.

At this time, our direct website is set to receive Booking Requests rather than Instant Bookings. There are a few identity related requirements that must be met in order for the reservation to be approved. Once approved, the guest will be offered secure payment options using a Credit Card, Debit Card or PayPal.
