Ahoy there, this is Capt. Mike Lehner and I have hijacked both of the pages of The Escapade of Green Lake and the personal page of my 1st mate of 53 years, my wife Karen Lehner.
I just have to express some huge “thank yous” to various people and organizations that have
given me the platform (really the deck), to Captain the “Escapade” over these past several
years.
I absolutely love to take guests upon the waters of this fantastic natural resource known as
“Big Green Lake”. As many of you know, it has given the opportunity to raise funds for various
local nonprofits as I donate 100% of all of my tips to this endeavor.
This year I have smashed all previous records, as incredibly, over $10,800.00 in gratuities have
been raised for the Princeton Volunteer Fire & Rescue. This accomplishment was only made
possible by the tremendous support and encouragement that I have received from Thom and
Gennie Lemmenes of Pierless Boat Rentals, Gage Marine - Green Lake, and the management and staff of the Heidel House Hotel & Conference Center.
Together so much has been accomplished and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude, not
only to the above named, but to the tremendous generosity of those passengers who blessed
the deck of the Escapade this past summer.
