As America celebrates 250 years of independence, let's honor the farmers who have helped shape the nation from the very beginning.

🌱 In 1776, about 9 out of 10 Americans lived on farms or in rural communities.
🌽 Indigenous communities cultivated crops like corn, beans, and squash long before the United States was founded.
🍎 The United States is one of the world's largest agricultural producers, growing more than 400 different commodities.
🚜 Less than 2% of Americans are farmers today, yet they help feed hundreds of millions of people.
👨‍🌾 Today, family farms make up about 95% of all U.S. farms, continuing a tradition that spans generations.
