Destination Spotlight✨🇵🇹
We recently got back from Portugal, and we completely understand why it’s having such a moment right now.
Portugal has that rare combination of beautiful cities, incredible food and wine, dramatic coastlines, rich history, and a slower pace that makes you actually want to linger.
And travelers are taking notice. Portugal welcomed more than 15 million visitors in the first half of 2026 alone, while U.S. travelers continue to be one of the country’s biggest and fastest-growing international markets.
But one of the things we loved most? Portugal doesn’t have to look the same for every traveler.
✈️ First European trip? Start with Lisbon + Porto.
🍷 Love food and wine? Add the Douro Valley.
🌊 Want a little more relaxation? Head south to the Algarve.
🌿 Want something completely different? Madeira deserves a spot on your list.
We just experienced a little piece of Portugal ourselves, and we’re already thinking about going back.
