Redstone Goes on the Vision of the Seas….AGAIN!
Now that we are only a year away from this great adventure, we want to remind you to make your reservations before it's too late. Sailings on the Vision of the Seas for next year are VERY popular
because Royal Caribbean will not be sailing out of Baltimore as of later next year. So people are booking on the lovely Vision before the opportunity is gone!
This time our adventure will be a spring cruise and our itinerary will take us south from April 30, 2026 – May 9, 2026. We will again work with Sherry at Tropical Vacations by Sherry for the cruise bookings. This 9 night cruise will enjoy 4 relaxing sea days, a full 24 hours in King's Wharf, Bermuda, and full days in Bimini and Nassau in the Bahamas. While Vision is an older smaller ship, we thoroughly enjoyed the crew and the fun of traveling with a group of friends.
Here are the details:
We have secured 20 ocean view cabins in total. There are 5
midship cabins which are located on decks 2, 3, and 4 and are a
category 2N. There are 15 forward or aft cabins which are located
on decks 2, 3, and 4 and are a category 4N. We have secured 10
inside cabins which are located midship on decks 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8
and are a category 2V. Single, Triple (three people in a cabin),
Quad (four people in a cabin), and balcony cabins are available
upon request at current pricing by contacting Tropical Vacations
by Sherry at 724-972-8118 or [email protected]. Please
know that balcony cabins on this ship are quite pricey because
there are not many of this cabin type on the ship.
A government issued photo ID AND US birth certificate (original
copy US state issued) OR a valid US PASSPORT BOOK
(RECOMMENDED) can be used for sailing.
Pricing below is based on double occupancy (two people in a
cabin) and includes taxes, fees, port expenses, prepaid gratuities,
and travel protection. Price may increase as Royal Caribbean can
increase the cost of pre-paid gratuities or travel protection without
notice prior to booking. . Once your cabin is booked, your price will
not change.
CATEGORY 2N Ocean view - midship - $2,913.24 (total for two
people)
CATEGORY 4N Ocean view - forward or aft - $2,733.24 (total for
2 people)
CATEGORY 2V Inside - midship - $2,693.24 (total for 2 people)
Again, this price is for both people in the cabin. It includes the
cruise, gratuities, meals, shipboard entertainment and insurance.
It does not include the alcohol package or the transportation from
Redstone.
Redstone will again provide parking and bus transportation from
North Huntingdon. We must also increase the price for this from
$150 to $175 per person due to bus price increases. This includes
driver gratuity and gratuity to the porters who take our bags from
the bus to the ship upon arrival in Baltimore. For those coming
from somewhere else to join us on the cruise, we are asking for a
$25 donation per person just to help us cover the administrative
costs of putting together the cruise. Transportation payment will be
due by March 15, 2026.
A $500 deposit will hold your spot for the cruise line and is
refundable until final payment is made. Yes, the price is up a
couple of hundred dollars per person from our last cruise. This is
due to overall price increases, and the fact that this is a more
popular time to cruise and a popular itinerary. This cruise leaves
on April 30, and so we won’t have the potential hurricane risks like
are of concern with fall sailings.
This is a low stress travel opportunity since once you step on the
bus in North Huntingdon your bags will be taken care of until you
get off the bus 9 days later. You will be traveling with a great group
of people who will enjoy dining, dancing, and enjoying all that the ship has to offer, together.
There are two steps to register. First, please call Justin at 724-
832-8401 X 3378 to let him know that you are signing up, and then
contact Sherry at 724-972-8118 or [email protected] to
actually book your cabin. Once you book with Sherry, any changes
and cancellations will need to be made through her. Should you
need to change your plans due to illness, family situations, etc.,
after final payment, she will assist you with the insurance and
cancellation policies. Because this trip is so far out, you have a big
window for a full refund without involving insurance should you
need to cancel.
Most of the travelers on Vision of the Seas are 55 or better, just
like us at Redstone, so we will feel right at home and enjoy all that
Vision has to offer. Don't let this opportunity to enjoy a great cruise
