Truly hard to put into words just how magical this past Columbus Day Weekend was
My parents and I had the incredible opportunity to host my girlfriend, her family, and their pups at our upstate home for my final salmon trip of the season. I had high hopes for this weekend, but every expectation was exceeded beyond anything I could’ve imagined.
One of the biggest highlights was introducing Paulo and Roberta to the world of fly fishing. Neither had ever held a fly rod before, and getting to teach them, guide them, and watch them catch their very first salmon was an experience I’ll cherish forever. They absolutely blew me away!
A huge thank you to my amazing parents for all the love and effort they poured into making everyone feel at home, especially through the incredible meals and hospitality. And to Marina, thank you for everything you did to help make this weekend so special. Sharing these moments with you and our families meant more to me than words can express
Between the beautiful days on the water, the delicious food, the endless laughter, and most importantly, the love shared between our families, I genuinely couldn’t have asked for anything more
A weekend filled with many firsts, unforgettable moments, and memories that will last a lifetime. I can’t think of a more meaningful way to close out another incredible salmon season.
