From check-in to check-out, my stay at Tru by Hilton Baton Rouge Citiplace was nothing short of excellent.

Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Kenisha at the front desk, whose professionalism and friendly demeanor immediately set the tone for a great stay. She was incredibly helpful, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process while answering any questions with care and attention.

The hotel itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere throughout my visit.

What truly stood out was the housekeeping team. They were extremely polite, attentive, and consistently made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. Even the housekeeping manager took the time to personally check in and ensure I was pleased with my room and its cleanliness. That level of care and attention to detail is something you rarely see in most hotels, and it made a lasting impression.

One of the standout highlights was the breakfast absolutely amazing! There was a great variety of fresh, delicious options that made for the perfect start to each day.
Check-out was just as seamless as check-in, rounding out an overall exceptional experience.

Booked a car with Avis… showed up ready to hit the road… and surprise! No car for me 😳. Apparently, my reservation was just a suggestion.

Lesson learned!!! Always double-check your booking, folks unless you enjoy awkward airport parking lot tours! 🚗💨

Awesome start to an amazing Spring Break!

The journey to get here wasn’t smooth at all delays, stress, and moments where I questioned everything but I made it. And once I arrived and got settled, it all made sense. Every challenge along the way was just part of the story, not the ending.

This trip is a reminder that sometimes the path gets messy before it gets beautiful. Keep going, keep pushing, and trust that what’s waiting on the other side is worth it.

For the next 6 days, I’m my own customer

Even as a travel agent, travel doesn’t always go as planned. Delays happen, routes change, and you learn to adapt in real time.

This is exactly why I do what I do so when things go sideways, there’s someone who knows how to pivot, problem-solve, and keep the journey moving.

Currently navigating some travel delays, but still grateful for the experience and the reminder that flexibility is part of every adventure.
