FUN FACT FRIDAY! Baseball will forever be America’s pastime, but did you know that Greenwood had its very own Minor League Baseball team? The Greenwood team played under several franchises: Detroit Lions, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Giants, and Brooklyn Dodgers.

It even won 4 Cotton State League Championships with 10 appearances!
