Greenwood County is located in the Piedmont Region of South Carolina and serves as a hub for a seven county region including Abbeville, Edgefield, Laurens, McCormick, Newberry, and Saluda counties, all of which feature numerous lakes, attractions, and state recreation areas for regional visitors to experience and explore.
