UPDATE: We definitely are making repairs and deep cleaning along with making safety plans and putting a staff together. Here of late the repairs are consisting of finding items damaged from the February of 2021 freeze. The Queen hasn't been gone through since 2020 so you can imagine that task. The owners asked me to get the Queen operating again so I am trying to do it right by making it reliable and enjoyable safe.
We didn't get asked to start this until mid April so we got a late start. The owners have been awesome and supportive and I invite all Grand Lakers to like and follow the Cherokee Queen page that I recently started. I will have a website running soon and I will update as soon as I feel I can operate the Queen as she should be. We will be cruising soon and the Queen can be rented as an event center for parties or meetings or other large gatherings with catering and entertainment options available. Now isn't that just gorgeous happy Father's day weekend. Things are still moving in the right direction after a couple small set backs. Stay tuned as we will make sure the Grand Lake community knows when we have a first cruise date. Does everyone like live music while out on a sunset cruise I know we sure do....

Attention all valued guests,

We would like to inform you that our establishment is currently closed and not conducting tours at this time. However, we are diligently preparing to be operational soon. Our targeted date for reopening is July 1st, however, there is still much to be done to ensure our guests have the best experience possible.

We understand that there has been a high volume of calls and inquiries regarding our operations, and we appreciate your enthusiasm and interest in having the Queen back cruising on the lake. We have listed our operating hours and contact information to keep our page active and to provide information to our valued guests.

We understand that many of you are eager to book tours and we are excited to bring the Queen back to life. We will make an announcement on this page and other outlets when we are fully operational. In the meantime, we kindly ask that you share our page with your friends.
