This National Forest Week, we’re celebrating the places that make adventure possible. 🌲
From towering old-growth forests to quiet backcountry campsites, our National Forests provide space to explore, learn, challenge ourselves, and reconnect with what matters most.
Every trail hiked, every campsite visited, and every Leave No Trace principle practiced helps ensure these incredible places remain healthy and accessible for future generations.
We’re grateful for the forests that inspire us, the public lands that belong to all of us, and the people working to protect them.

📈 That’s a 316% increase from last year!⁠

Help us protect Yosemite’s bears:⁠
✔️ Obey speed limits and stay alert for wildlife.⁠
✔️ Never leave food or scented items in your vehicle overnight.⁠
✔️ During the day, store food out of sight, lock doors, and roll up windows.⁠
✔️ Make sure to latch all bear lockers and trash cans properly.⁠
✔️ Stay 50 yards (minimum) away from bears.
✔️ No food or coolers in truck beds or roof racks — bears will find them.⁠
⁠
🧸 Every choice you make matters. A fed bear is a dead bear. Let’s keep Yosemite’s wildlife wild and alive.⁠
