Vermont Welcome Center - Guilford

The Vermont Welcome Center in Guilford will be undergoing a walkway reconstruction project from April 7, 2025 until August 25, 2025. The building will remain open our regular hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily. Car and truck parking lots will remain open and accessible at all times.

Please keep out of closed construction areas and follow temporary walkway signs when they are in place. Updates will be posted as needed.

As of June 1, 2021, we have expanded our hours to 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week.

Vaccinated visitors and staff may enter the building without a mask. We ask that unvaccinated visitors and staff wear masks while in the building. Thank you.

Eight of the Vermont Information Centers Division facilities will open July 22, 2020, with limited access. As an initial phased reopening approach, access to only the interior restrooms will be available from 10 AM to 6 PM, 7 days a week.

The sites will be signed for physical distancing and folks are asked to wear masks when inside the building.

Portable toilets will remain on site to serve travelers when the building is closed. The following are the 8 centers that will be opened.

1. Bennington
2. Fair Haven
3. Guilford
4. Hartford
5. Sharon
6. Waterford
7. Williston North
8. Williston South

Remaining closed facilities will have portable toilets available in the parking lots with the exception of Montpelier and White River Junction.

**REOPENING July 22, 2020.**

The Welcome Center is reopening today, July 22, 2020, for restroom use with limited services. Hours will be 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, seven days a week.

BUILDING CLOSED.

All welcome centers are closed until further notice. Parking lots are open. Portable toilets are available, with daily maintenance.

Parking lot paving is completed and the truck parking area has been reopened to trucks, buses and RVs.

-Trucks, Buses, RVs and All Travelers Be Advised-

VTrans will be repaving the I-91 NB Guilford Welcome Center parking lot from July 9 - August 23. Paving will also include the entrance and exit ramps.

While the car parking area is paved, visitors will use the truck/bus parking area. During construction, the Welcome Center will not be accessible to any truck, bus, or RV traffic.

The map below indicates alternate stops for these travelers.
