“This partnership with Hertz represents a significant step forward in delivering a seamless travel experience for our guests,” said Jesse Fosnaugh, Airport Director at Gulf Shores International Airport. “Hertz is a globally recognized leader in the rental car industry, and we are excited to welcome them as a key component of our growing airport services.” Hertz anticipates making reservations available starting early April.
In addition to securing Hertz as its first on-site rental car provider, the airport has also finalized an agreement with ParkMobile, a leading provider of smart parking solutions. ParkMobile, already in use throughout the City of Gulf Shores, will provide a simple and convenient way for travelers to pay for parking at the airport. This integration ensures a smooth transition for visitors familiar with the system while enhancing efficiency for all airport guests.
“The addition of Hertz and ParkMobile is just the beginning. We are actively working to develop more ground transportation options and services that will cater to the needs of our customers.”

With terminal construction well underway and a host of new businesses preparing to launch operations at the airport, Gulf Shores International Airport remains on track to provide a world-class travel experience for residents and visitors to Alabama’s beaches. Additional announcements regarding airport amenities and service providers are expected in the coming months as Allegiant begins flights to six destinations from Gulf Shores beginning May 21, 2025.

A little glow up in the Ocean Front King Suite Bathroom this offseason. We swapped out the grey vanity for a white vanity, repainted the dark grey walls a light fun blue & white, upgraded the lighting, and most noticeable added some gorgeous grasscloth wall paper with blue fan palm fronds to really make it a beautiful yet fun space.
