Just last week at Inheritance delayed. Hard to imagine that while I was there - two out of the seven days I walked the beach in my swimsuit! I had to buy shorts (at Dollar General LOL) because I hadn't packed them. This was the first week of February!

We had the beach almost to ourselves, ate great seafood, enjoyed wonderful weather and the excitement of discovering tons of seashells and sea life that most people never get to see in real life (over 100 Man of War, dolphins from our deck every day at dusk and dawn, a star fish that had washed up on the beach, etc).

Nothing quite like this place. I will love it forever and always!

It’s been a busy week. I LOVE investing in Inheritance Delayed. You might think I’m referring to a financial commitment - but it is so much more than that. I’m really talking about our emotional investment in our second home.

We take great pride in providing only the best for our guests - and that is how we view YOU. We care about the experience that each and every visitor enjoys.

This week I hand made new pillows for our living room. New cushions for our Master BR wicker rocking chair. We ordered two new Polywood chaise lounges for the main deck and two new area rugs for the main floor living room. They will all be arriving mid August - along with our new Hot Tub.

We hope that the pride we show in our home and the commitment we feel to the comfort of our guests is what places Inheritance Delayed at the TOP of where vacationers want to spend their time. It’s where guests want to invest in making their own memories.

We did a THING!! Inheritance Delayed will be adding to its amenities this summer:

A lovely relaxing hot tub will be added to our new decking! Yes we enlarged and rebuilt the decking and stairs on the beach side of the house. Later this summer the Master Spa Clarity 7 will be installed on the main floor decking and we can’t wait! Just imagine enloying a nice glass of wine, listening to the ocean waves, and watching the sun set from the comfort of a very enticing hot tub.

We are so happy that we can offer this new and luxurious amenity late this summer. Stay tuned and - book early and often!

We LOVE staying at Inheritance Delayed anytime - but especially from early fall through winter! This year our beach house project is replacing the decking on the beach side of the house then we plan to add either a large hot tub or swim spa depending upon the available space. We spent almost three weeks supervising that project in January and February. It’s still not done but i feel better just having been there!

We had a wonderful time hanging out on the Fort Morgan beach. It was void of everything except beauty, solitude and sea shells!

I tried a new restaurant Coastal which was fantastic (thank-you Susan Trawick) cant wat to go back with family and friends shelby and i walked for miles everyday day i loved it and am so thankful that God blessed us with the resources to purchase this piece of heaven on earth!

We are almost fully booked for the summer but if you want to enjoy the shoulder and off seasons you still have time!
