We made Airbnb Superhost! I never really cared about the stats or metrics as a traveler, but did I get a BIG lesson when we started hosting through our beach condo. It means enough strange people like us, like REALLY like us enough to post a 5 star review.

It's a cringe popularity contest in the end, but we all want the trophy status like all the cool kids. Airbnb holds your ranking like a knife over your head. We truly renovated this beach home to build memories with families and friends now, and live in it when we retire.

We want you to feel relaxed & a little spoiled when you come. Pack less, stress less, and relax MORE! Others push us to run it more like a businesses, but I believe that if you put good in- you'll get good out.

It is snowing on the beach in Gulf Shores! We haven't seen snow since 1964, so this is a huge event for the community. The city government is closing all bridges to the mainland, and are instructing all citizens to remain in place and only venture out if absolutely needed.

Good news is that it should all pass by Thursday.

Due to a reschedule, we have an October opening from 10/19-10/26.

October is a great time to go because the weather is below 90 degrees, easier to get into restaurants, and it's more of a local, chill vibe. Best time for biking trails at Gulf State Park!
