ete pad below where there's enough grill space and seating to serve a multitude of guests. Don't be surprised when a friendly neighbor or two stops by to welcome you and share a beverage. Nightlife is a short drive away in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. If you've ever been to the infamous FloraBama, you know there is always an eclectic combination of music and patrons. The sugar white beaches of Gulf Shores are a quick 10 minutes away and the beautiful Back Country bike/walking trail can be reached in a 15 minute drive. Once you've experienced all the day's activities at the beach, water park, or racetrack, leave the crowds behind and head back to your little piece of serenity. Enjoy the sounds of mullet jumping in the river, herons, egrets, and pelicans passing over head, and view turtles lounging on stumps on the river bank. Walk to the community salt water pool overlooking the beautiful river for a quick dip, or let the kids play all day. Put your boat or kayak in the river from the boat launch located beside the cabin. No need to carry or trailer your watercraft long distances with the launch just steps from your door. If you're lucky you just might get the opportunity to watch dolphins play in the river right next to your kayak! The best vacation hideaway that will make you want to come back again and again!
