Today was a rough day... Hurricane Helene has caused severe destruction in Gulfport, particularly devastating the Gulfport Marina and surrounding communities. The powerful storm surge and high winds resulted in extensive damage to boats, docks, and infrastructure at the marina. Many homes and businesses in nearby neighborhoods have been flooded, with significant wind damage to buildings. Recovery efforts are underway, but the extent of the damage is still being assessed as communities brace for a long rebuilding process.
