Take a trip down memory lane at the Albertville Museum! Now through August 29, you can explore the "From Showroom to Street: Ride Local with Albertville’s Automotive Industry" exhibit. It highlights our community’s automotive heritage, from local dealerships to the service stations that kept Albertville moving.

The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. & 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Sand Mountain Park's 1st Annual Back to School Tennis Tournament is here!

Join us for an exciting weekend of tennis, competition, and community fun! Whether you’re just picking up a racket or you're a seasoned player, this Co-Ed, level-based singles and doubles tournament is open to all ages and skill levels!

📅 Tournament Schedule:
🎾 August 30th and 31st
✅ Saturday – Singles Tournament
🎾 Format: 10-game pro set with a 7-point tiebreak at 10-10
✅ Sunday – Doubles Tournament
🎾 Format: Best 2 out of 3 sets, 10-point tiebreak for 3rd set

🎽 Register by August 22nd to guarantee your tournament t-shirt!

🔥 What to Expect:
✔️ Minimum of 2 matches (and possibly 3!)
✔️ 5-minute warm-up before each match
✔️ A fun, competitive environment for all skill levels
✔️ Opportunities to connect with fellow tennis lovers

Looking for a peaceful way to enjoy the lake at sunset? Join the Lake Guntersville State Park-Alabama Naturalist for a guided kayak trip along the shoreline of Town Creek THIS Saturday, August 9, at 6:00 p.m. 🛶

You’ll spend about 90 minutes on the water, paddling 1.5 miles while learning fun facts about wildlife and history. Bring your own kayak or canoe and just pay the $5 program fee, or rent a single or tandem kayak if you need one. Life jackets are required.

The annual Conquer the Cave 5K is set for Sunday, September 21, at Cathedral Caverns State Park-Alabama! 🏃‍♀️ Enjoy beautiful mountain scenery as you race, then experience a unique finish inside the cave at the 1.9-mile mark.
