Guthrie Ghost Walk is an outdoor walking tour of Downtown Guthrie's historically haunted locations.

Historic Downtown Guthrie has always been a focal point for stories of spirits, sprights and specters. From the bullet holes in the ceiling of the Bluebell Saloon to the shuttered windows of the Territorial Jail, the downtown area is the backdrop for stories of heartbreak, mysterious happenings, and murderous intent - not to mention a few instances of just plain bad luck. As you walk through part of the largest historic district in the United States you will experience the classic architecture of the Victorian/Edwardian Era in the town where Oklahoma began. You will walk the same streets that once hosted famous politicians, activists, actors, and outlaws. You will hear tales of hauntings, sightings, and the unexplained. And if you are lucky-or unlucky- maybe you'll experience an encounter yourself.

I’m not quite sure where the rumor is coming from, but Guthrie Ghost Walk is alive and well (no pun intended.) We are still THE ghost walk in town and have no plans to disappear (see what I did there?) Next year will be our 13th year of sharing the history and mysteries of Oklahoma’s first capital. Being featured in AAA World Magazine has had visitors from all over the world adjusting their travels to take in the historic first capital and we continue to have local, national, and international guests.

We have had a difficult, painful year with the loss of both friends and family, but we are dedicated to continuing to flesh out (that one is terrible) the stories and legends that have circulated through our community for over a century.

I hope you will join us this Halloween season as well as November and December for our Christmas season. We Walk year round, weather permitting, and would love to share the stories that allow us to lay claim to the most haunted community in Oklahoma.

We may have to start our October Walks in a boat!

Right now we are planning on Walks both Friday October 2nd and Saturday October 3rd, but that may change depending on the weather. We have a 7:15pm start time scheduled, so think good thoughts!

Welcome to our 12th Fall Season!

We are back to our fall start time of 7:15pm and planning on every Friday and Saturday evening. We are also available for private group Walks.

This year has been challenging personally. We have lost dear friends and are watching others struggle with monumental health issues. The patience and understanding our followers have graced us with is appreciated more than you can imagine. We would like to dedicate this fall season to our friend/accomplice/co-conspirator/sister-beast/resident lunatic Stef Fortney as she continues her battle with brain cancer. Keep the faith, muggles.
