Most of us were never taught to do that.
We were taught to push through. To override the fatigue, the tightness, the low hum of something that needed attention. To keep going until we couldn’t.
I spent years doing exactly that — until my body stopped whispering and started shouting.
What I know now, after almost 20 years of this work: the body is not the problem. The body is the map. Every sensation, every place you brace or hold or go numb — it’s information. It’s the wisdom we carry inside us.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. You just have to be willing to get quiet enough to hear it.
What is your body saying to you today that you’ve been too busy to listen to?
