Keola had the privilege to ride in this year’s Kamehameha Day parade as a member of the Queen’s Pa’u Unit under his hula sister “Queen Gina Lahilahi Jingao.”

For the past 153 years Hawai’i has celebrated its most prominent Mō’ī (ruler) Kamehameha the Great, every year on June 11th. As apart of that celebration, pa’u riders (women who ride on horseback in beautiful dresses) along with their male paniolo escorts from across the kingdom would ride in parade representing each island. What a wonderful tradition to uphold and what an honor for Keola to contribute to that rich tradition. E ola! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
