“There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow…” ✨🎶

Big changes are coming to Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress at Magic Kingdom! Disney has officially announced a major reimagining of the beloved attraction, featuring updated scenes, new time periods, and even a Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic. 🤯

The refreshed version will take guests through:
🚀 The 1960s space-race era
📺 The 1980s
💻 New Year’s Eve 1999
🌌 A brand-new futuristic finale

Don’t worry though… Disney confirmed the iconic song “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” is staying! ❤️

Carousel of Progress will close in July 2026 for the transformation and is expected to reopen in 2027. This will be the attraction’s biggest update in over 30 years, while still honoring the original vision Walt Disney created for the 1964 World’s Fair.
