Congratulations to Buffalo Bills Public Art Program Artist and Red Fish creator Friend of the Lake Erie Seaway Trail Center Ellen Steinfeld

Cannot wait to see the final product. Looks so uplifting, fun, and vibrant! (And we got a mention)!

Ellen Steinfeld is a multidisciplinary artist known for her innovative large scale metal sculptures, colorful wall reliefs, paintings and mixed media works. Ellen's artwork often reflects her fascination with nature, while interweaving spatial relationships and exploring imaginary organic forms.

Summer solstice occurs this Sunday, June 21, at 4:24 A.M. and marks the official astronomical start of summer, bringing the year's longest day and shortest night. In Hamburg this means over 15 hours of daylight, followed by yet another of our many spectacular Lake Erie sunsets!

Thank you Township of Hamburg, NY for prepping our sunset view area on time for visitors to enjoy!

We are extremely grateful to the incredible team of Frontier Central Schools Big Picture Academy students, teachers and administrators who conducted a Clean Beach Sweep and helped our Master Gardener Paula Malesa tend to the Pollinator garden today!
A few board members and our friends of the Building and Grounds team of Township of Hamburg, NY also showed up to assist!

Thanks to our Master Gardener volunteer Paula Malesa, and the Buildings & Grounds crew of Township of Hamburg, NY, (a couple of her rookie gardener friends Nancy Giglio-Maisano and Francine Geyer helped too), the Pollinator garden is shaping up!

Thanks to the neighbors who stopped by to thank us and bring refreshment - proving that Hamburg is the town that Friendship Built!
