Not a single day goes by that I don't miss you.
I miss hearing your voice. I miss your hugs. I miss being able to pick up the phone and call you when life gets hard. I miss your smile, your laugh, your touch, your scent... I miss simply being in your presence.
There are so many moments when I wish I could have just one more conversation with you. One more hug. One more "I love you."
As much as my heart aches without you here, I find comfort knowing you are no longer in pain. You are free from the heartache and struggles you carried for so long. I know you're now with Grandma and Grandpa, exactly where your heart always longed to be.
Thank you for raising me to be the strong, independent woman I am today. Thank you for teaching me how to love fiercely, how to be a devoted wife, and how to be the best mother I can be. Everything good in me carries a piece of you.
The pain of losing you hasn't gotten easier. My heart still hurts as much as it did the day you left this world. A piece of me left with you that day.
But while I may have lost a part of myself, I gained the most beautiful guardian angel I could ever ask for. 🕊️❤️
