Livingston Parish Community Waterway Cleanup
Saturday, September 12, 2026 | 8 a.m.–12 p.m.
LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. — Livingston Parish Government, in partnership with Keep Livingston Parish Beautiful, Keep Louisiana Beautiful, the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office and Springfield Fire Department, invites the community to participate in the Love Our Waterways Litter Cleanup on Saturday, September 12, from 8 a.m. to noon.
With approximately 400 miles of navigable waterways, Livingston Parish’s rivers, lakes and waterways are an important part of the parish’s culture, recreation and quality of life. The cleanup gives residents an opportunity to help protect these natural resources for future generations.
Boats of all sizes and types are welcome. Families, fishing and boating clubs, civic organizations, sports teams, businesses, churches and individuals are encouraged to participate. Cleanup supplies will be provided.
