As a North Carolina-based team, it's such a privilege for us at Lazy Lizard to partner with Global NC (Go Global NC) in bringing programs like this one to life!

These teachers become a conduit from the world back into their local communities here in North Carolina. Raven Vaughn, a Hobbton Middle teacher, traveled across Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa just a few weeks ago, and came home with a new perspective and new ideas for her own classroom.

King George is watching you. Well, his boot is!

There's a large oil portrait of King George V hanging in the The Victoria Falls Hotel, and there's something you may have missed if you've ever visited: no matter where you stand, his right boot follows you.

Step left, step right, cross the room. His polished boot stay pointed right at you.

It's the same trick behind the Mona Lisa's gaze. When a subject is painted looking straight ahead, the eyes – and apparently the footwear – track you wherever you go.
