Enjoy cuisine from well known local establishments, or book our signature historical private boat tour to the Jacobsville Lighthouse. Beginning in 2022- There are multiple trip options to chose from:

Option 1- North Entrance- Here you will see picturesque sunsets that make this side of the peninsula a favorite for those seeking a romantic sunset with that special someone, or for the family looki

ng for lasting memories of Lake Superior. Option 2- South Entrance- Here you will see the Historic Jacobsville Lighthouse and sandstone cliffs. The lighthouse assisted ships navigate the rocky shoreline as they loaded sandstone from the nearby quarry. Custom itinerary- If you have a special event, or specific request, contact us about catering to your specific need. The 24ft pontoon boat is operated by Captain Jason Swain, a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, and is U.S. Coast Guard licensed. All trips are limited to 6 passengers due to Coast Guard regulations. Please bring your own food and beverages (b**r, w**e, soda, snacks, etc). A cooler will be provided to keep everything cool. Little known story of White City…

We talk about this and more on our private pontoon tour to Jacobsville Lighthouse and sandstone cliffs. Not many slots left for this season.

Drive south out of Lake Linden today and you end up at a public beach called White City. Almost nothing there explains the name. For about eleven summers it was the closest thing the Copper Country had to a seaside resort. A dance pavilion. A hotel with its own dining room. Bathhouses along fifteen hundred feet of shoreline. A merry-go-round with carved horses. An electrical plant to run all of it. And for a while, a half-mile figure-eight roller coaster on the Lake Superior shore. The strangest part is how people got there. The practical way in was by boat, up to a dock where a sandstone sidewalk ran to the pavilion. Then it was gone. The beach still carries the name.
