The 2025 ASTA River Cruise Expo was amazing! I learn so much when I put in the time, money, and effort to see these ships with my own eyes, meet with the River cruise representatives and senior executives, and hear about exciting new itineraries and vessels in the near future.

Seriously, if you book your own vacations, you are literally missing the boat. If you book through a travel agent, ensure you are booking with a knowledgeable and TRAINED agent. You need to ask the person you are working with about their experience. Education and training expenses have a line item in our corporate budget. If you book through a travel agent, does that person have a full time job outside of the industry? Is it a side hustle? Can they be available to answer your call, email, or text while at their “other” job?
