Take Action during the month of September and help support the Harbor Springs Food Pantry!

Did you know that September is Hunger Action Month! Your Harbor Springs Community Food Pantry is always in “action” against hunger but this is a good reminder that we need support - whether as food or monetary donations - we are always grateful for the generous help we receive! We operate the pantry every Monday, all year. The only exceptions are if Christmas Day or July 4th falls on Monday. Occasionally weather may shut us down! Stop in Monday mornings 9-11:30), call us (231-526-2017, ex 143) or leave non perishables in the narthex of Holy Childhood Church! Thank you!

Help us welcome, New Member – League of Women Voters Northern Lower Michigan, to the Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce.

The LWVNLM is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Importantly, the League never supports or opposes any political party or candidate.

The League of Women Voters fulfills its mission through two distinct roles:

- Voter Services and Education – providing unbiased, nonpartisan information about elections, the voting process, and election issues.

- Action and Advocacy – while nonpartisan, after careful study and consensus, the League uses its positions to advocate for or against particular public policies.

Go ahead and follow them to stay informed.
