Proceeds from this fantastic event help support the Mary Ellen Hughes Culinary Scholarship, providing scholarship money for culinary education and coursework to students in our community.

Local Chambers joined North Central Michigan College this week to celebrate the opening of its new Martin Jahn Technology Center. The 11,750-square-foot facility expands hands-on education in advanced manufacturing, engineering technology and skilled trades, including welding, CNC machining, and HVACR. The center is the centerpiece of NCMC’s $22 million Career and Technical Education Enhancement initiative, the college’s largest campus expansion in more than 50 years. Now more students will gain the hands-on skills for careers in advanced manufacturing, engineering technology, robotics, welding, CNC machining, and skilled trades while helping meet our region's workforce needs. Classes begin in the new technology center this fall.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Legs Inn with our fellow chambers Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce and Mackinaw City Chamber of Commerce for the legs inn business after hours.

The Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce was delighted to attend the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Harbor Springs Garden Club!

To celebrate this incredible milestone, we gathered with Garden Club members and community supporters for a ribbon cutting to unveil the new memorial garden at Zorn Park Beach.

The Harbor Springs Garden Club cares for more than 15 gardens throughout our community and plants more than 3,000 flowers each spring. Through their dedication, hard work, and love for our community, the Garden Club has played an important role in preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of Harbor Springs for generations.

We are grateful for the countless hours of volunteer service and passion the Garden Club has shared with our community over the past 50 years. Congratulations to the Garden Club on this remarkable milestone!
