Little Big took an adventure across the bay to be part of crookedtreepetoskey’s “Immersed” summer programming. IMMERSED an art, design, culture, and natural science exhibition designed to cultivate greater enjoyment, appreciation, understanding, and stewardship of our extraordinary local waterways.

We spent our week flowing through a cascade of water-based adventures! We explored several water features, such as ponds, creeks, rivers, and even the big lake. Through our explorations, we discovered where they come from, who lives in them (little and big) and what fun can be found around them.

Campers got up close and personal with aquatic creatures, creative constructing birch bark boats to race, and enjoyed splashing in the creek on a hot summer day!

What an incredible week! Thank you Crooked Tree for immersing us in your summer programming!

It has been a phenomenal summer with Little Big Day Camps! Better than we could have ever imagined. Every day brings a new discovery. We have just two weeks of camp left this summer, and can't wait to see what fun is in store.

✨Good news! We've added another week of camp: August 4 - 7✨

We're so thrilled that our camps have been popular and have sold out. We know some of you were still hoping for a chance to join us, so we shuffled our schedules and are excited to open up one more week of Little Big Day Camp for families who didn’t get a spot (or who just want to come back for more)!

It's time for more nature-based fun, creative projects, games, time on the farm, and space to explore, play, and grow.

If you’ve been thinking about signing your child up for Little Big Day Camp, now’s the time! We only have two spots left (August 11 - 15)!!

We've had an amazing summer so far, and we'd love to share the experience with your family. Let your kid spend their week outside—playing, exploring, making things, getting messy, and just enjoying the kind of days our campers will remember. At camp, we pick strawberries from the garden, journal in the shade, splash through the creek, and spend real time being present, connecting with nature and each other.

Every week of camp is a unique experience full of discovery, play, and beauty.

One of the best things about our summer is our partnership with Five Mile Creek Schoolhouse. This century-old building is owned and cared for by the Five Mile Creek Community Association.

Did you know that since 1954, neighbors and friends have gathered at the schoolhouse for monthly potlucks? The tradition continues today.

These year-round community potlucks take place on the first Saturday of each month at 6:15 pm (the dinner bell rings at 6:30).

All are welcome—bring a dish to pass and place settings.

Just like that, we have completed our second week of Little Big Day Camp!

We have to say, this week was completely different than the one before. Sure, every group of campers gets to do the full range of fun outdoor adventures and activities, but our educational philosophy makes each week of camp completely unique. We know no two people are the same, no two groups are the same, and no two days in nature are the same. That's why we listen and respond to the needs, curiosity, and excitement of the moment. The result is a truly memorable, impactful experience that can last a lifetime.

Week three sold out(!) and is well underway, but there are a few spots left for weeks 4, 5, an 6. Grab one before they’re gone—we think your little adventurer will thank you for it!

We’re beyond grateful to the Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce for such an amazing week! Celebrating our ribbon-cutting ceremony in the woods on July 1 and marching in the 4th of July parade a few days later reminded us what a warm, supportive home we have in Harbor Springs. We couldn't think of a better place for our little business to grow.

Here’s to the start of something big, full of adventure, connection, and growth. Cheers to new beginnings with Little Big! 🌲✨
