TRAVEL TUESDAY ✈️ FACT OF THE WEEK: Travel Is Good for More Than Just Your Bucket List
We all know travel feels good, but the research suggests it's doing more for us than simply creating memories.
A peer-reviewed study published in BMC Geriatrics found that adults who didn't travel in a given year had a 71% higher risk of depression the following year compared to those who did. Another study from Marshfield Clinic found that women who vacationed less than once every two years were significantly more likely to experience depression and chronic stress than those who traveled more regularly. And according to the American Psychological Association, 57% of working adults return from vacation feeling less stressed, with many reporting improved energy and overall well-being.
Turns out, that trip you've been dreaming about may be benefiting your mind as much as your passport.
