Rocko needs YOUR help! 🫵

Rocko has been with us for several weeks. He was originally found roaming an area of the county for several days.

He was skittish and in flight mode and we couldn't get near him.

We were finally able to secure him with the help of a Good Samaritan.

He was VERY thin and may have been on his own for awhile.

Rocko warmed up to our staff after a couple days, and is such a goofy little guy!

Initially he dog-tested well and even did okay with cats. The longer he's been stuck in the kennels, the more "outspoken" he's been with greeting other dogs through the kennels. You would have to bring your pups in for a meet and greet.

Unfortunately Rocko is becoming frustrated and destructive. We don't blame him. Being stuck in a kennel all day with only a few short breaks isn't the ideal life for anyone.

Our staff tries to provide as much physical and mental enrichment as possible, but we don't have dedicated kennel staff to give the dogs the attention they deserve.

Unfortunately if he keeps destroying his kennel he's going to seriously end up injuring himself, or worse.

He needs a home.

Rocko is estimated to be around 3 years old and is a Bully Mix. He may do okay with small kids, but we'd recommend a home with teens and up.
