Few past trout trips we never posted. Cooler water has been tough find with the recent temperatures but with enough searching/luck there is some cooler water to be found and the bite has been great 🎣
Hoppers, stick baits or mousing has been productive!

We have few days to squeeze few trout trips before salmon craze begins!

As soon as this heat wave is over and the water temperature drops back down to safe levels for the fish we will have availability for mousing, streamers and hardware (spin casting) trips!
Right now most river Temps are pushing or well above 70°F even at night.

The night bite has been great!(pre heatwave) The adrenaline rush of a fish eating in complete darkness is something every angler should experience!
💥 You don't have to be a seasoned fly angler to come out and experience "mousing" for trophy brown trout!🎣

Dustin landed multiple fish on his first trip after dark chasing trout. After having a handful of fish swipe/blow up and miss right out of the gate, Dustin's excitement level was already "to the roof" but not quite "through" just yet that is....
When the first fish hit the net you would have thought he just harvested a 180" trophy whitetail! It was without a doubt the highlight of the night! Seeing him shake uncontrollably with adrenaline for at least 5-10min after releasing this fish is the exact reason my passion for guiding could never fade and only grows with every trip.
I get just as excited and pumped as the angler landing the fish every.single. time.💯🎣🎣

Well yesterday's history of being fishy still holds its place!

Fishing was 🔥 from the beginning to the end of yesterday's trip.
River conditions were perfect, weather set up perfect (rain yesterday and cloudy today) and it had fish ready to chomp.
We lost a few good fish and had fish that completely missed all on their own but overall
the fish cooperated just like I had hoped and
Lanna killed it today and her cast were on point! 👉
Here's the handful of pictures we ended up with and probably almost that many we didn't grab pictures of. 🎣

spinning gear or streamers have been great as of recent. For the dry fly guys and gals on the right days some fish have been looking ☝️Hennies have been hatching in about every stretch I've been on recently as well depending on the day.

This was a day I'll remember for a while!
Miles and miles from any migratory fish Carter had the lucky hand at landing his first resident Rainbow and joined the 20"+ club with a great brown to top it off.
Big fish were on the move today..

His buddy Ryan hooked one of the biggest browns I've probably seen to date, a true MEGA brown 30"+. The size of of this fishes head was unreal and we all had a real good look at it as he launched out of the water like a 🚀 and shook free.. it was a heart break I wouldn't wish on any Trout angler 💯
Not to mention the other half dozen 18-20" fish chasing or missed right by the boat, there was alot of exciting moments on today's float.

These guys won't be forgetting this trip anytime soon! 🎣🎣

After a wonderful fall-spring season chasing great lakes steelhead on some of our bigger tributaries, I always look forward to chasing our favorite resident brown trout away from the crowds on small peaceful water!

What a fun trip this was with Tj and Cody!
Cody had never caught a steelhead before this trip and thankfully his first one was one that will I'm sure will be burned into his memory for life! 🔥
This fish put up one best battles ive seen in quite some time! Making a handful of drag screaming runs everytime we would get him close.

There should be plenty of fish to play for a couple weeks yet before we switch more focus to some beautiful resident Brown trout🎣
